Fifty classic bikes (20 different brands) were exhibited strategically throughout the complex and, other than the traditional entertainment, a beer tent and band (Voodookudu), all visitors were handed a card with slots for each of the businesses in Casterbridge.
Shop owners would place their sticker in the appropriate block on the card when you presented your card. All cards went into a lucky draw and visitors could win prizes or vouchers.
“The turnout was good and we will certainly do this more often,” said Viljoen.
