'Paseo de los Monos' is a wildlife sanctuary located in the Ecuadorian Amazon and it's here that abused, orphaned and abandoned monkeys are given a second, happier chance at life.

The monkeys taken in by the sanctuary are all victims of animal trafficking, mostly sold as pets, and are usually kept in cages or chained up.
