Jacques Krüger, the headmaster of the school, said it was important for the learners to experience a matric farewell as they have been deprived of many important events due to the Covid-19 pandemic and restrictions.
“We have to do everything in our power to restore things back to normal as much as we can. The children look forward to the matric farewell very much. Not all the learners are here, but those who are here really put in a lot of effort and had a need to celebrate together and bid their school years farewell. They deserve it.”
