TS Galaxy still silent about new signings
While many Premier Soccer League (PSL) teams are on a shopping spree and unveiling new players and coaches, Mpumalanga’s only representative in the PSL, TS Galaxy, are tight-lipped about their plans.
Speaking to Mpumalanga News on Monday, the team’s spokesperson, Thabang Mazibuko, said the team’s boss, Tim Sukazi, and head coach, Dan Malesela, will communicate the latest and important developments once they have consolidated everything.

“We are not saying anything because there is nothing to say at the moment, but I promise to let you and all our supporters know what we are cooking up for them,” said Mazibuko.
This newspaper has, however, learned that former Cape Town City defender, Ebrahim Seedat has joined the home team. Mazibuko was also mum on this move maintaining that an announcement will be made public once Malesela has finalised his preparations.
The team had earlier released a statement which stated that they have noted with great appreciation the huge interest from aspiring footballers who would like to join the club. “While the club appreciates the growing interest from all over the country, it is important to note that there are no trials taking place at the club at the moment.

This is due to the fact that the South African Football Association has not granted any club permission to host trials for its youth divisions. “As far as the senior team is concerned, players are headhunted by the club, which means that there are no trials hosted for the senior team at any given moment.
The club will make a further announcement on trials for its youth teams as soon as it is safe to do so,” read part of the statement. The PSL officially kicks off the 2020/21 season next weekend with a host of MTN 8 games. All four scheduled fixtures will be played behind closed doors keeping in line with Covid-19 regulations.
