Sukazi on the verge of clinching Siwelele

GladAfrica champion-ship outfit, TS Galaxy's chairperson, Tim Sukazi, has signed on the dotted line to clinch ownership of Bloemfontein Celtic on May 12.

However, football supporters in the Free State are not pleased with this as Sukazi intends to bring the club to Mpumalanga.

This was announced during an interview with Umhlobo Wenene FM, revealing his plans to obtain the status which awaits the approval of the NSL Executive Committee of the Premier Soccer League (PSL). The Rockets boss said he was open to any deal if there is a Free State-based person who is willing to buy the club.

“As TS Galaxy FC, we are now focused on completing our financial guarantee in terms of the agreement so that we can proceed and lodge our application for approval to the NSL Executive Committee. It is also important to reiterate what I had said before, that if there is a Free State-based person who wants to buy Celtics, he is welcome to put his money where his mouth is,” he said in the interview.

Galaxy made a lasting impression when they became the first lower division side to ever win the Nedbank Cup title last year against Kaizer Chiefs at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
