Lady Zamar whose real name is Yamikani Janet Banda took to Twitter yesterday expressing how she had suffered emotional abuse in her previous relationship with a well-known musician.
The Collide and My Baby hit maker’s thread began with the singer tweeting, “You guys are exhausting man.. I’ve been saying… Your precious Zulu man is a liar and a cheater..”

It was followed by many others where she revealed how her ex had denied he had a wife, how she had spent two years fighting within herself and that she is setting the record straight by calling a spade a spade.
Her tweets left many with mixed reactions. This is what some had to say:
When women speak about being abused they are either threatened by social media or they are being questioned

The sad reality of what I've been saying. We are a toxic generation that's addicted to likes and retweets, being loved and followed by strangers that add no value to our personal lives, but just numb the pain we shy away from. We are in desperate need of healing…#LadyZamar https://t.co/gGw2ak47kG
