Province presents the greatest and most star-studded Gospel Festival of 2019

Clear your calendars and book your loved ones to a family-orientated and open-air musical event of the year.

Ziyaphenduka Marketing and Events Logistics has another first-ever don’t miss production planned for this November, the 5thThobela FM Gospel Festival!

Recognising the popularity and appeal of the gospel genre and what one could dub the meeting of the doyens of gospel music, Ziyaphenduka which has been in the events business for 20 years now, has gone big this season, billing a crème-de-la-crème line-up of the greatest gospel artists this year – amidst an already large, exciting, and successful 2019 season for the artists.

This is all possible after Thobela FM and Ziyaphenduka again joined forces to proudly present this gospel festival which is taking place on the 16th November 2019 at the Polokwane Cricket Club Stadium in Limpopo Province.

Artists that have been confirmed for the November event include multi-award winning gospel musicians such as Benjamin Dube, Dr Tumi, Winnie Mashaba, Solly Mahlangu, Ney Zimu, Lucas Maloma, Zaza, Psalmist Sefako, Peter Mabula and many more local emerging gospel singers.

Thobela FM, which covers Limpopo, Gauteng, Mpumalanga and North West, in conjunction with Ziyaphenduka held a similar and very successful event at the Burgersfort Laerskool Stadium on December 2016.

“This is now something we’ve talked about doing for years, and with an ever-increasing support base, and a great opportunity for partnership with Thobela FM and other stakeholders, we knew the time was right,” says Ziyaphenduka CEO and founder Bruce Kgapane.

“The show is styled to give gospel lovers a once-in-a-lifetime experience to watch and listen to these incredibly talented performers in action, but the addition of Benjamin Dube, Solly Mahlangu, Dr Tumi and Winnie Mashaba to this show has already become the hottest selling ticket in Ziyaphenduka history.

“We have seen the highest-selling advance sales in our history with this show, and the numbers grow every day,” says Kgapane, “We’re very much looking forward to welcoming large and enthusiastic crowds to this show that already has us bursting into tears laughing, and clapping along to these amazing musicians.”

It is not difficult to see why this show is already selling like hotcakes. Nine top musicians and many emerging gospel artists are scheduled to belt it out from noon to midnight.

“We could not be more excited for this show, and just can’t wait to get it in front of an audience. This show is going to blow people away, and we are thrilled to be able to offer this whole experience for R300, which is the equivalent to just a show to watch Dr Tumi and Benjamin Dube.”

Kgapane says their incredible sponsor support base, and the recent volume of ticket sales have allowed them to keep their costs down and continue to fulfill their mandate of creating events that are affordable and accessible for all.

And similar to previous events, Kgapane has emphasised that safety and security of patrons and making the occasion a lifetime experience for them will again be their top priority.

“This a family-orientated event for peace-loving and God-fearing fans. Hence safety of the crowd and making this an experience they will never ever forget, will remain our top priority.”

Kgapane encouraged families to buy tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

“Besides getting tickets from Computicket, fans can also get them from Shoprite and Checkers across the country.

“I appeal to fans to grab their tickets as soon as possible because the venue can only accommodate a limited number of fans. For safety reasons, we will not sell more than the venue can accommodate,” said Kgapane.

Normal tickets cost R300.
