BMW M Festival headed to Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit

Taking place on 26 and 27 October 2019, at Kyalami is the second iteration of the BMW M Festival. The show promises six BMW M and M Performance models to be revealed to the public.

The first BMW M Festival took place in 2017 and garnered just under 20 000 visitors. This year BMW will be premiering the new X3 M Competition, X4 M Competition, M340i xDrive, 8 Series Gran Coupe, X6 and 1 Series to the public. Guests will be able to browse through the latest models from the German automaker at pop-up showrooms and book test drives or hot laps with professional drivers. In addition to the live music from renowned DJs and kids play area, Sheldon van der Linde will provide entertainment by driving his Shell BMW M4 DTM car around the infamous track.

Also making its first appearance in public will be the BMW 530 MLE which recently undergone a full restoration executed by BMW Group South Africa. Taking place during the event is the annual Gauteng BMW Car Club Concours, the event that has been taking place for over 33 years focus on condition, authenticity, preparation and presentation when it comes to choosing the winner.
