Updated Audi TT and TTS

Audi has refined its third-generation TT with exterior and interior updates and higher-powered engines.

The front of the updated TT range features a three-dimensional Singleframe radiator grille and two large side air inlets underneath the LED headlights that come as standard. As with the Matrix LED headlights, the S line exterior package comes as optional which sees the addition of a front splitter, vertical air inlets, a titanium black grille and unique side sills. Additional to the package you will get a wider diffuser and vertical air inlets below the rear lights. While the wheelbase on the updated Audi TT and TTS models measure at 2.51m, the overall length stretches to 4.19m. Audi offers five designs of 19-inch wheels and three new body colour options; cosmos blue, pulse orange and turbo blue, to the facelifted models.

On the inside, Audi has made the cabin more driver-oriented with the inclusion of racing gauges to its 12.3-inch Audi virtual cockpit display which can either display the traditional speedometer and tachometer or can be switched to the infotainment mode, where you will find the navigation map increased. On the TTS models a third option, Sport, is included which provides engine output information. As standard, the new models will come fitted with Audi smartphone interface, parking aid plus, power-adjustable front seats and the multifunction steering wheel plus, illuminated USB ports as well as MMI navigation plus. Optionally available is a 14 channel, 680 watt, Bang & Olufsen Sound System.

While both engines derivatives come in the form of a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol unit, the one found in the TT Coupé 45 TFSI S-Tronic will produce 169 kW and 370 N.m of torque, mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission while the powertrain in the TTS Coupé Quattro S-Tronic, mated with its six-speed S-Tronic transmission will output 228 kW and 400 N.m of torque. Customers can choose between either the S-line sport package or the Audi magnetic ride suspension which will see the body lowered by 10mm. The TT and TTS models will come with Electronic Stabilization Control, progressive steering and four-link rear suspension to improve handling dynamics.
