Through the grapevine: There is a first time for everything

The Mpumalanga Sports Awards took place on Sunday, and all we can say is that there is a first time for everything.

The guests were dressed to impress, but one would think some dipped their faces in mud before showing up. Take it easy on the face beats ladies; the natural still rocks in 2019.

The MCs did a good job, but it was unnecessary for Lungile Mhango to mention that people understood why she was happy after the winner of the sport star of the year category was announced. No offence, but professionalism is important!

As for the confusing categories and nominees, we would suggest to the organisers to do proper research next year. By the way, there is a difference between a journalist and sports presenter.

Moving right along to the entertainment, it has to be known that we are not enemies of progress, but it would have been nice to hear Reshen sing a song from the album he mentioned he was working on. Just a teaser, nyana, on what we can expect once it is released. How is that going so far, bro? Launch anytime soon? Do keep us posted; surely your fans are anxiously waiting.
