Saint Riolo to release his latest offering

He shared that his much-anticipated five-track EP has an influence of African sound with an upbeat tempo.

Attorney, DJ and house producer, Mbongeni Ngomane, popularly known as Saint Riolo, is not only busy in the legal world, but is also compiling his extended play titled Afrosaintric that he will drop on August 16.
Speaking to Mpumalanga News, he shared that his much-anticipated five-track offering has an influence of African sound with an upbeat tempo. “In 2015 I produced a track which I only released in 2017. I had added vocals to it. After the release, I decided to focus more on production. I then released a single titled, ‘Feel It’, featuring another artist. The track was widely circulated and people loved it. Last year I released two more singles and I was happy with the reception I received. The EP is a reproduction of these songs with the track ‘Asikhulume’ that will have four versions. I worked with Amateurs at Play from the United Kingdom and another local producer who did the Amapiano version,” said Riolo.

A listening session will be held next week before the release for the final touches. In one of the songs, he will feature an upcoming vocalist, Masikane from Nkomazi that people should look out for. “The song’s message encourages people to support one another and to unite. We are still busy with the song which will also be available on iTunes. I am looking forward to the release which will blow people away. I never put pressure on myself to continue releasing music. What works for other artists, does not apply to everyone. It is very important to release and promote and do gigs, which is what I do and it works for me. I can stay a year and just release singles so that I give myself time to come up with something special,” he added.
