Pressure’s wave to break local shores

Nowadays, the word 'wave' is used as a slang word for a good time or a good vibe, but in this song, it carries a sentimental message.

Local rapper, Prince Khoza, popularly known as Pressure, has dropped a new single titled, “Wave” featuring Shazi Shabbazi, and is generating large download and streaming numbers online.
The tune follows his six-track offering titled Energy 2 that he released in January, which is rather more soulful than when he is spitting bars, which he normally does on rap tracks.  Speaking to this publication, he said the chorus of his single,”Catch the wave or just swim” refers to opportunities that one must seize when they arise.

“Every person has their season, whereby whatever they do is successful. When that time arrives, one must make sure that they do right by themselves. Nowadays, the word ‘wave’ is used as a slang word for a good time or a good vibe, but in this song, it carries a sentimental message. “The song was produced by Hazy Dlamini and mastered by a sound engineer at Ark Entertainment. I have been marketing it since January and there is a promotional video as well. The reception has been great and people love it. It is available on SlikourOnLife and it is doing well with the number of downloads,” he explained.

Pressure has been making music from a young age and has performed at various events. Asked when he will release an album, he simply responded by saying that it is a musician’s wish to release a fully-fledged album, but the time has not yet arrived.

“I want to compile an album eventually because that is the pinnacle in music. In my case, I want to tell a story and at the moment there is not one on which I can make a full project. Until such a time comes, I am not going to record an album for the sake of releasing something. I want to make sure that when I record it, there is a focal point and a story to tell. For instance, the Energy series was about relationships and that was the scope of the project.
The previous one, Young Bearded Fellow, told who I am and what I am about and generally, my life’s story. I believe one must put out a record when God positions you in that space,” he added.
