Idols SA Season 15 is here!

Another spectacular season of Idols SA rolls round bringing with it, scores of young talent.
Executive producer and director of SIC entertainment, Gavin Wratten, said, “Idols is all about pursuing and reaching your dreams, so going for gold is another way of saying take that first step and go for it.”
After all, it was because of this very platform that South Africa got acquainted with the soothing voices of Shekinah, Xae, Thami Shobede, Mmatema Moremi and Amanda Black, who bowed out early but still powered onward to superstardom.
The same can certainly be said of the phenomenal talents we crowned winners after the nation rallied behind them.
Musa, Khaya, Yanga, Paxton, Noma and Karabo have all managed to persevere, shoulder the pressure of the music industry and keep winning over the hearts of the many South Africans who voted for them.
It is, as ever, that perfect mix of humor, passion and authenticity that’s made Idols a thrilling watch for almost two decades.

As they say, “fortune favours the brave,” and this new season will bring with it more touching tales of youngsters who endure the long queues and bitter weather or travel long distances to earn a spot on SA’s most coveted platform.
“The audition tour this season is next-level. The contestants have raised their game and provided us with some of the most bizarre and crazy auditions ever, so we did not have to change much, to get the most amazing content,” concluded Wratten.
