Through the grapevine: Do what you love, just do it well
Did the"#BringBackKhaya" March finally materialise this time around? Did the marchers show up? Or did half day or lunch time result in 1000-980=20 once again?
Isn’t it sad how social media can make or easily break a person?
Well, we can all agree that it is fun until you use it for the wrong reasons and, of course, getting likes and views. Anyway, most now know that your phone can get you fired.
Moving right along to last weekend’s events, starting with the Africa Month Fashion Show at Emnotweni Arena where the organisers pulled off a great show. Guests showed up looking good and were dressed to impress. Even white Gucci loafers and belts did the rounds. Not that we care if they are genuine or not, we just had to mention it nje! Well done to the team!
Congrats to Mr Mpumalanga 2018 for making it to top three at the Mr South Africa finals. It serves those who mocked pictures of the finalists months ago right. Eintlek, what was funny, vele? Did the finalists not look good, or is it the angle of the pictures, maybe?
Speaking of angles, Mpho Less’s picture taken at News Café with some guy got tongues wagging. It’s funny how many analysed it, but as usual there’s never a dull moment on social media. Let’s just say it’s the angle of the picture. Case closed!
