Through the grapevine: Balling is not for everyone

Again, Mbombela was a playground last weekend with socialites who have a taste for the finer things in life.

We are not sure who needs to hear this, but balling is not for everyone!

In fact, we think some should avoid hanging out with the superiors of Labomdzala, as it makes them look deprived.

Anyway, we must give advice on sucking up to event organisers in this city. Do not be praise singers on social media or appoint yourselves as ambassadors for upcoming events. It’s easy and simple, just go and buy and see the results afterwards. There are ways of being relevant, especially locally with all the “kings and queens” in different levels.

There’s a tendency of badmouthing one another and influencing others not to attend certain events and it is done most by those lassies who preach unity and claim to advocate for women, yet they are the biggest destroyers, worse than Cyclone Idai.

Sisters, you know who you are, no need to raise your hands. Ye-ke-la- ni-u- mo-na!
But we must commend Clifford Masinga and team for shaking up the town last Saturday with the Mansion Party. Judging from the pictures, it really was on to a point that some even resigned from their jobs on social media the following day. Well not that it’s any of our business, or anyone else’s for that matter.

Anyway, the countdown to the Crowning of Miss Mpumalanga 2019 has begun and we thought we should remind you to buy your tickets not to miss out.
Have a great week and remember that sucking up is fine, but do not make it too obvious.

May the force be with you!
