The dos and don’ts of Valentines Day
Only one day left till Valentine's Day and you probably want to impress your partner in many ways . Be careful because a whole lot could possibly go wrong. We have a few tips that could save you from a disastrous evening.
DO: Plan!
It’s very important to make plans. If you want a night out, make reservations for two while you still have time. The earlier, the better.
DON’T: CONCENTRATE ON YOUR PHONE
Stop in the name of love! This could the most romantic day in the year. Rather switch your phones off and focus on the agenda for the evening which is LOVE.
DO: Make it the best
This day comes once a year so it wouldn’t hurt to spoil your partner. If you decide on cooking , do not just make a meal, show off!
DON’T: Exchange lame gifts
It’s 2019 so you better dump the chocolates and teddies holding mugs. Getting her that designer handbag she’s been raving about, surprising him with a console game he can enjoy with the boys or maybe put a ring on it.
DO: Just relax
The aim is to have show love and affection to one another but try not to over do it. You don’t have to call her often on the day or ask if everything is fine every five minutes. It is a bit annoying. Have fun and make the best of it.
DON’T: Dress inappropriate
Imagine driving straight from work to pick up your partner in your work clothes. It’s not on! Advice for the ladies: Be elegant and remind him why he chose you. Gents, as long as you’re shaved up and dressed to impress her, you are good to go.
