Through the grapevine: Are taps running dry in the province?

Taps must really be running dry for many of abo bhuti nabo sesi lately neh? We see not many could make it to the #VDJ this year. Could it be due to political commitments or vele dololo u-cash?
We are curious because we know how obsessed some are with social media, so much so that they would post pictures of their flight tickets. Plus, what’s the use of attending such events, spending all weekend long and return only to have mielie meal and cabbage for supper the whole month? Pointless!
It’s good that some opted to fill potholes at Pienaar in their ANC regalia. Not that there’s anything wrong, but if we may ask, are those puffer jackets, LV loafers and iPhones the organisation’s trademark?
It’s good to ask because nobody aims to be the cat that was killed by curiosity. Either way, y’all look dapper but try and remember not to display your lives on social media too much as you automatically raise people’s expectations. No matter how many followers you have, consider them as strangers and not your true friends.
