You may have seen her slaying in a daring black dress at this year’s Vodacom Durban July last weekend, well guess what? Zodwa Wabantu will be turning heads this Saturday at Coyotes Lounge.
Zodwa is not new to Mbombela’s entertainment scene as she’s invaded various chilling spots in the province. The entertainer and dancer does not struggle to take the spotlight at events and causes a frenzy on social media.
She says she is looking forward to being hosted by Coyotes Lounge. “Yes I will be in Mbombela this weekend and I am excited. Do come and see u-Zodwa Wenu do her thing. See you there,” she said, thrilled.

DJ duo and producers, Afrotellus will join Zodwa Wabantu on the evening. The duo shot to fame in 2011 after winning Mpumalanga’s Finest DJ Search competition hosted by Ligwalagwala FM. A year after playing their mixes on radio, Ligwalagwala approached them to work as a team for a new Saturday midnight slot, KuzeKuse (till the break of dawn). They will be going on tour for their single launch in Standerton next month.
Locals including DJ Notrix, DJ Sirelo, Mpindane, Motion Dee, W Slim, Nelsoula Deep, Percy DJ and DJ Mavicks will also be on the 1’s and 2’s. Entry is free, so there’s no reason not to attend.
