Chilled vibes to warm up for Youth Day at Coyotes Lounge
Shane Eagle will share the stage with locals including Pressure, Motion Dee, Sergio Taylor, Nia Louw, Mpindane, DJ Sirelo and Percy DJ.
Award-winning rapper, Shane Eagle will be spitting his solid bars at Coyotes Lounge’s Pre-Youth Day celebration tomorrow evening.
Eagle recorded his first song at the age of 13 at his friend’s studio who eventually saw potential in him. Shortly after completing high school, he entered The Hustle, a television show and rap contest. Among the judges were influential South African rappers AKA, Tumi and Motswako rapper Khuli Chana. He had a rough start in the competition, but eventually made it to the top four and was eliminated thereafter. He was recently awarded the Best Hip Hop Album for his latest compilation titled, Yellow at the 2018 South African Music Awards in Sun City.
Events manager at Coyotes Lounge, King Harris said the aim is to bring young people together a day before the Youth Day celebrations that will take place in different parts of the province. “This is a gift from us to the youth, so people should come out and enjoy great chilled vibes. It’s our month after all, do not miss out.”
