Clash of the champions: Sundowns welcomes Barcelona
The Brazillians announced the big news at the Sandton Convention Centre. The teams will be playing for the Mandela Centenary Cup, which forms part of the celebrations of the life of Nelson Mandela in 2018.
Premier Soccer League and La Liga champions Mamelodi Sundowns and Barcelona will battle it out on field. This friendly encounter will take place on May 17 at FNB stadium.
The game was organised by the South African Football Association together with LaLiga World Challenge. Kick off is at 6.15pm. This match may be one of the highlights to go down in history in South African football. Sundowns and Barca supporters let us get ready to head to FNB!
