We bumped into a few familiar faces and blasts from the past at the Crowning Miss Mpumalanga like Iyaya from Barberton. It's a pity we did not get to see him do his thang on the dance floor. Phela... Back in the days he was a force to be reckoned with.
First and foremost, allow us to crush on all those who attended the Crowning Miss Mpumalanga pageant last weekend looking all proper and fresh! Well, not all of you… That would never happen!
Let’s talk about Billy Brown’s surprise outfit. Chommie, you took many by surprise and it surely was bold of you to bring some “va va voom” into the space. You and Beatrice Shongwe posing for a picture together kind of reminded some of those Halloween parties in those American movies. Nonetheless, siyakuvuma!
Those who were there would agree when it’s said Karabo Mogane finally came out of his shell. Wonder where he was hiding his stage persona all this time? The two ladies he mesmerised on stage with his smooth velvety voice were so charmed, shweem. Anyway, he gave us the best performance we’ve seen from him. Local is indeed lekker! So in future, do book the dude for events, you won’t regret it. The less said about some stuff that went down on the evening, the better.
Overall, we loved the production and the event was supermagondovious as Somizi would say. Have a great weekend and remember this: No matter how you feel – get up, dress up and show up.
