Through the grapevine

Crucify the media and post hateful statuses on social media and see if it will change the country’s current state.

Where do some of you get the guts to dictate to journalists what to report on?

We heard some Rambo wannabe is threatening to reveal people’s shenanigans. How petty! What many do not realise is that Mbombela is such a
small place to go around exposing their “trust land personalities” even at the wrong places.

Who cares if you wine and dine with lame local celebs or whatever they want themselves referred to as?Or event organisers who are used as fronts for people who are really raking in the moolah? Drinking whiskey every weekend does not make you superior. To be honest, we’ve seen way better.

Moving right along to more constructive stuff than people who think they are the best thing that ever happened. That may be the case in Nkomazi, Bushbuckridge or in Mganduzweni, but definitely not in the province or the world.

Anyway, Miss Mpumalanga will take place on April 7 and we cannot say we’re not excited. It’s a pity Mbombelans are still set in their ways and the spirit of free tickets still lives in them. For those who understand the concept, you know what to do.

We’re wondering if Karabo Mogane has gotten rid of his dishwasher personality on stage as Somizi Mhlongo said to him a few years ago during his audition on Idols. Homeboy has the voice and talent but ushoda nga that thang maan. Overall, he’s a nice and humble chap. One cannot be perfect!

Have an awesome weekend and do remember this: A wise man makes his own decisions, an ignorant man follows the public’s opinion.

May the force be with you.
