M’langa team doing well at SAFA SAB under 21 National Championships

The Mpumalanga flag is still flying very high at the SAFA SAB under21 National 2017 Championships.

The tournament, which is currently underway at the Nike Football Centre in Soweto, started on Wednesday this week.  All the nine provinces are represented plus one university football club making it 10 teams.
The team from the Province of the rising sun is leading group A with a maximum of nine points.

On their first day they managed to secure their first two wins over Limpopo and the Eastern Cape.

The second day was a bit challenging as they were trashed by Gauteng 3-1.
However they managed to make a good come back by defeating the Northern Cape 2-1.

As things stand, Mpumalanga has already booked itself a place in the semi-finals that will take place on Friday.
The coach of the provincial team, Ditheko Marago said he is adamant that the boys will continue to represent the province till the finals. “The boys are promising and I believe that no one can stop us from being champions,” he said.
