Through the grapevine

Not much is happening in the social scene now that the weekends are getting colder. Not that it's a train smash, but what we know is that Mbombela has cowards who try and fight their battles on social media.

One thing one should take into consideration is that your posts may land you in hot water.

Imagine a grown man posting on Facebook from time to time how incompetent or crappy media houses are.  Yet, he failed to fill up the civic centre for a “comedy show” and goes on to claim how journalists have something personal against him.  Oh, please! What is that you have that other people don’t, Bra?

Remember, before posting something on social media platforms, think about the following: Your post written on a billboard with your name. Think about how it will be perceived, especially when you represent not only yourself, but also the company you work for.

By the way, not that we’re dictating to what you should say or post, but because many of you claim to have “the reputation of a hard bum”, try and maintain it please. Phela, it gets rough especially on Facebook when others even fight over tenders or MC jobs.

Bo-dali,it’s definitely the wrong platform for such. Rather meet at a spot around the city and surely you can sort it out. Don’t say we did not warn you about bumping into izi girls ze-moet and platters as well as abo brother who sip one glass of beer for hours waiting for their BEE friends to come and get the party started. Real distractions!

May the force be with you!
