Dads can look forward to chilling with good music

The line-up includes Idols 2015 winner, Karabo Mogane who will belt out hits like “Khakhati” that has received a lot of airplay, and other tracks from his latest album, Matters of the heart.

This year’s celebration for dads goes beyond cards and gifts with the Father’s Day Hurricane Soul Session that will be hosted at Noma Nini Lodge this Sunday.

Karabo will not be alone on stage, but will be joined by the Soul Kings of Mbombela, Celani Dube, Unkle Mdu, Sweetmike and Rio Mabunda, who will mesmerize the crowd with soulful soothing sounds.

The event also seeks to educate men on the effects of women and children abuse which is currently a major challenge in the country as noted in the previous weeks. It is also aimed at encouraging responsible fatherhood.

Justice Nyalunga of DJ Seven Mega Entertainment, says as men of Mbombela, they are against women and child abuse. “We request those who will come, to bring along sanitary towels so that we can donate
them to needy girls in schools. We have also invited two Mpumalanga MECs and they will be afforded an opportunity to speak against women abuse very strongly. “Furthermore, the event is about celebrating good fathers and men who respect women and children.”
