TCCC want to shine for SAMA 23

TCCC Mass Choir is confident of walking away with a SAMA 23 award

TCCC Mass Choir from Kwazulu-Natal has been nominated in the SAMA 23 in the category of Best African Indigenous Gospel.
In an interview with Mpumalanga News, the manager of the choir, Wiseman Dube said being nominated is a motivation on its own and he is confident that they are going to win an award.

“The category is new, but we are more than confident to say we are taking the award with our album titled, “Jesu ngohlala nawe.” The quality of the sound and the package of the album as a whole meets the standard of the competition, we deserve it,” said Dube.

He told this newspaper that they were previously nominated to the SABC Crown Gospel Awards in the category of Best Amazayoni Album and in Ingoma Awards they were nominated in Best Amazayoni Awards.

“Even though we did not receive anything, but it was a learning curve and some of the things that we learnt, we implemented to gain nomination in SAMA 23 which is boosting our confidence as a choir,” he explained.
