Nathi aims high in SAMA 23

"There is a small voice that is telling me, I am going to win," says Nathi

Local artists in the country cannot wait for the South African Music Awards 23 (SAMA 23) where their hard work and dedication will be recognised.
Nathi who branded himself very well in the music industry, said he is confident that he will walk away with an award after he has been nominated in two categories which is Best African Adult Album and Best Male Album.

“I know the competition is very high since I have been nominated with different talented artists which includes the likes of Kelly Khumalo and let me indicate that I am not undermining them, but I have a feeling that I will take something back home,” said Nathi.

Recently he realised his new album titled, “Mbulelo wami.” He told this newspaper that the album is not far different from his previous album.
“I am so grateful about the positive response that I get from my latest album, it is doing well. People love it and it’s not that different because even this time around, it speaks about thanking God leading me up to this far.

And it’s a way of saying thank you to the people who made me who I am today, including my fans as without them, I am nothing,” he added.He indicated that he is currently busy promoting his album outside the country as he was recently in Gabon.
