Selati Cup reaches last-eight

A total number of 576-goals have been scored in 119-games played to date.

The crowning of the RCL Foods Selati Cup is getting closer and closer. The tournament started with whopping 128-teams with all setting their sights on being crowned champions of the lucrative Mpumalanga amateur tournament, which boost R100 000 cash prize money for the eventual champions.

As things stand, there are merely eight teams left to contest. The final is expected to be played on June 4 at KaMhlushwa Stadium.

This year’s champions will walk away with R100 000 in cash, a trophy and gold medals. Runners-up will be consoled with R55 000, while third-place finishers will receive R33 000.

Fourth place will receive R22 000 cash.

All four teams will also receive branded full set of kit.
