The fashion week will boast designers in and around Africa who will be showcasing their designer clothes.

Nelspruit Fashion Week is a premium fashion platform events for the best emerging and well established fashion designers from Nelspruit, invited designers across South Africa, other African Countries, International designers, providing infinite points of exploration including fashion designers ramp showcasing, fashion expo that includes brands, fabrics, accessories and brand building that support designers businesses as well as grow existing brands, models, stylists, photographers. NFW is organised by Lee Tainment. Nelspruit Fashion Week has been hosted twice and, Pretoria Fashion Week 2017 edition will be hosted for three days from May 5 till 7 2017 at Casterbridge Lifestyle Centre, White River.

Furthermore, Nelspruit Fashion Week  apart from celebrating culture and arts and creative industries it will create jobs and income for artists, also provide opportunities for local direct and indirect industries such as technical, production sector, security, transport, catering, local vendors etc. The envisaged Nelspruit Fashion Week will also enhance tourism in that it will attract people to areas of fashion events who subsequently explore the surroundings.

Among SA Top Designers that will hitting the NFW 2017 Runaway will include among others Dennis Maponya-Manthata(SA), Gene Hunter Original(SA), Kloset Republic (Nelspruit)Aseme(Ghana)Black Trash (Botswana),Cybia(Nelspruit)GT (Cameroon), Kinshwa  and Guto(Namibia),Michrans(Nigeria) and many more.

The fashion week is expected to reach a substantial media coverage across print, online media and broadcast in both local and international media, twenty-five designers will participate in this year Nelspruit Fashion Week 2017, two best emerging designers from this fashion week will be chosen to showcase and represent South Africa in Vanqouver Fashion Week in Canada mid-September 2017. Fashion Designers will have exposure to key Fashion industry players invited, as well, local celebrities, relevant business personnel, government trade department as well as high profile officials from government-both local and international. The fashion industry connects relevant to consumers in every market since it transcends ethnic, cultural, gender, age and language barriers.
