Luyanda’s passion for modelling started at a tender age of nine when she was crowned Miss Lowveld Junior Super Model and the first princess in the Miss Lowveld Teen, the same year she won Miss Pageant Mpumalanga. In 2014 she was the overall winner in the Model Cup.
She says she entered the competition after being scouted by the pageant’ coordinators who saw her during the Miss Pageant Mpumalanga. “I was then scouted by the coordinator of Pageants SA, who then asked me to enter the SA Junior Teen Competition,” she stated.
