MBOMBELA- This comes after the Labour Court ruling against the former Bafana coach, Ephraim Shakes Mashaba, who launched an appeal to prevent the appointment of a new coach pending his contract with the national team.
Mashaba was suspended as Bafana Bafana coach last year in December after his last win against Senegal in Polokwane Peter Mokab stadium after being found guilty of gross misconduct, insubordination and violating Safa’s communication policy.

The five remaining candidates for the job include the 2017 AFCON winner with Cameroon Hugo Broos, the two-time AFCON winner with Zambia and Ivory Cost (2012 and 2015) Herve Renard, former England manager, Roy Hodgson, as well as ex-Bafana mentors Carlos Queiroz and Stuart Baxter.
However, it clear that Mashaba is more than prepared not to go down without a fight. Mashaba’s legal representative Mr Cloudio Bolo has warned SAFA against appointing a new Bafana Bafana coach before their CCMA hearing next month.
