Laugh the night away with Tumi

Have you been bombarded with worry in January? End the last weekend of this month with an energetic performance from South Africa's talented comedian, Tumi Morake.

A night of laughter awaits fans at Emnotweni on January 28, where she is bringing her brand new stand-up comedy show Tumi or not Tumi.

Morake is no stranger to the entertainment scene as she has peformed on stage and television, fulfilling her dream as an actress.  Not only is she a scriptwriter, but she is an international award-winning celebrity for her supporting role in Jerusalem, Skins and Johannesburg.

She also performed in a series called Millicent on  SABC 1.  She has also acted in other sitcoms such as Izoso Connections and Justice for All. She was involved in SAFTA, and the award-winning television programme, City Ses’la. She officially shot to fame in the comedy scene with her leisure manager, Parker, in July 2005 and performed her regular stand-up comedy shows in Johannesburg and Pretoria. Morake has also performed on stage with David Kau, Marc Lottering, Barry Hilton and Chris Forrest.
