Miss Mpumalanga Teen 2017 to be crowned this weekend

SKUKUZA – Organisers of Miss Mpumalanga Teen 2017 have announced that this prestigious event will take place on December 10 at Nombolo Mdhluli Conference Centre in the Kruger National Park (KNP).
The pageant’s managing director, Diketso Mashego, said 12 stunning finalists are eagerly waiting to showcase their skills on the day.
“Our finalists are not only exquisitely gorgeous, but are also educated and strive to make a difference in our province.
We should never doubt that a small group of thoughtful and committed, young people can change the world. Our finalists are not just about the glitz and glam, but are more concerned about improving the world that we live in.” said Mashego.
The grand finale will feature four talented local acts coming from different parts of the province. They are Teejay Mokoena, Artitude, Frisco and Musa.
The judges include top models and business owners from the province. They are Dean Alberts, Snethemba Ndlangamandla, Lucia Ochan and Billy Brown.

“We strongly believe that developing role models at a young age will entice their passion and ability to inspire those around them. We need to teach and instil selflessness and the acceptance of others for a better tomorrow.
We need to equip them with the ability to overcome obstacles so they can continue to motivate others just as our first-ever winner, Limpho Nkuna, is doing until this very day,” added Mashego.
The event will start from 14:00. Tickets can be bought at Computicket for R200 for VIP and R140 for general. Free access at the KNP gates will be permitted only for those with tickets.
