Sijulile Creative Group promise a buzzing weekend
All the activities will be taking place at the local library and are aimed keeping them away from the streets and from any forms of anti-social behaviour.
MSOGWABA – This weekend is set to be buzzing with entertainment galore for the youth of Pienaar and surrounding areas.
All the activities will be taking place at the local library during the launch of a locally-based creative art group, Sijulile Creative Group which is aimed at empowering the youth and keeping them away from the streets and from any forms of anti-social behaviour.
“We believe in empowering the youth as it is a long-term and permanent investment for the youth. We specialise more on the performing arts and sport,” says the chairperson, Dumsani Masilela.
“Different groups will showcase their talent in poetry, gumboot dance, hip-hop, drama, music, dance and many more,” he said.
Entrance fee is between R5:00 and R10:00 only.
