Win a weekend experience with Ligwalagwala FM

Competition closes on Monday midnight; winners will be announced on the next printed edition of Mpumalanga News.

As previously promised by the station manager, Mr Rio Mabunda, Ligwalagwala FM’s birthday bash is going ahead as planned and it promises to be nothing but an entertaining do. Scheduled for next weekend, this is a definitely not-to-miss birthday bash, which will feature the cream of the crop in the music entertainment industry.

Festivities begin on Friday, with a pre-party billed for Scalo Court at KaMhlushwa starting at 18:00 until late. Headlining this pre-party are some of the most sought-after DJs – Madumane, Shabba, Afrotellus, DJ Smith (Bosso), Saint Riolo, Quinton, Petizo, and Turnon Wisesoul.

This mother of all bashes, which will see a star-studded line-up has been scheduled for Saturday at the Driekoppies Dam in Schoemansdal and entry is free. This main event will start at 10:00 and comprises of only heavyweights in the music industry.

Some of the notable artists include, BigNuz, L’vovo, Karabo, Ma E, Kid X, Chomee, Cici, Ishmael, Sifiso Ncwane, Deborah Freser, Solly Moholo, Sipho Makhabane, Afrotraction, Lungelo, Afrikan Roots, Chillex, Donny, Phathwakahle, Sifiso S, Pastor Anderson, DJ Sdunkero and Jay Spitter and many more.

As if this is not enough, Sweetmike, Ndzinisa, Bob-star, Nu Soul, Blessed, Snagra Jazz Band, Reshen Family, Bobo, Muzi The DJ, and Papa G Montero, will soothe your souls with a Sunday Soul Session to be hosted at KaMhlushwa on Sunday from 10:00 until late.

Note that only the main event on Saturday is free but the pre-party and the Sunday session are not free events.
