Mbambo looks forward to the SAMAs

Asked if she’s ready for the big day, Ntokozo chuckled and said that she hasn’t sorted the dress problem yet.

Gospel music darling, Ntokozo Mbambo, says the nomination of her album titled Spirit and Life at the 22SAMA Music Awards, is nothing but a blessing.

Mbambo says being nominated in the same category with the ‘big guns’ such as Pastor Benjamin Dube, is also an honour on its own.Other nominees in the Best Contemporary Faith Album are Mark Counihan, Mahalia Buchanan and 24 Skies.

“I’ve been nominated for the Best Contemporary Faith Album and I am excited about it. The thing with awards is that you can never be too sure that you are going to win it, hence the nomination on its own is a blessing,” she said.

Asked if she’s ready for the big day, Ntokozo chuckled and said that she hasn’t sorted the dress problem yet.

“I haven’t even decided what I will be wearing on the day, but apart from that, I’m ready and looking forward to the event.”

Mbombela should brace itself for a meet and greet session with this songbird as she will be making her way down here soon.

“I am soon going to embark on a church tour, where I just go and fellowship with the churches as a way of sharing my gift and giving back to the people that have always supported me.

“Mbombela should also be ready because I will be there soon. People should keep tabs with my social media platforms for the precise dates,” she added.
