Judith really excited about SAMA nomination

On the eve of the SAMA22 event, she features in a collaboration with 2016 SA Idols winner, Karabo Mogane at the Church On The Hill, Kamagugu in Nelspruit.

South African Lady of Song, the enigmatic Judith Sephuma really is very excited about her being nominated for the “Best Female Artist of the Year” in the .

She revealed her surprise, anxiety and excitement, at the same when we spoke to her telephonically today. “It”s really an exciting moment for and I am looking forward to it. Actually it’s part of the great journey in my musical career that has carried me this far,” she said.

Asked which of the two nominations, Best Female Artist of the Year and Best Contemporary Album of the Year for her song and album entitled, “One Word,” she did not hesitate to reveal that she regards the Best Female Artist of the Year nomination “as a great category to be nominated in. It”s my first time ever to have been nominated in this category.

“I should think it was possibly, no I don’t know why. I’m curious to know why I was nominated in this category, but at least for once and at last, someone recognised the talent and experience I’ve exuded throughout my career, that it has been recognised, at last.

“In music, it’s very important to remain relevant and not fade and I”ve done exactly that, in short, now I realise someone has seen that I deserve to be there,” she said, matter-of-factly.

On the eve of the SAMA22 event, she features in a collaboration with 2016 SA Idols winner, Karabo Mogane at the Church On The Hill, Kamagugu in Nelspruit.

“That is a collaboration tour with Karabo which kicks-off in Nelspruit then to Port Elizabeth and Polokwane before I fly out to Manchester City in the United Kingdom on June12-aJuly 1. I”ll be back, but looking to seeing you at awards,” she ended.
