Tingwenyama need to sharpen hunting skills

"We are going to Cape Town with a winning mentality and we need to win to stay on course for our goal," went on Gutsa

With only four games left before the National First Division season ends, Mbombela United need to pull up their socks and soldier on.
The home team’s failure to collect maximum points last Saturday in the clash against Moroka Swallows has put them in a predicament.

They find themselves in a position where they have to win all their remaining fixtures if they are to book themselves a spot at the national play-offs.

Coach Vusi Mkhatshwa’s boys have been hot and cold lately, dropping easy points. This may come back to haunt them at the end of the season.
They are currently fifth with 44 points.
“Yes, when the season kicked off, we were on fire and the boys showed early signs of creating something wonderful. But along the way we started playing to draws and developed inconsistency in attitude.
“We have given away easy points when we could have easily collected everything, but I guess that’s the name of the game.
“However, we need to win all the four remaining games and see what happens on top of us,” said United’s spokesman, Sostern Gutsa.

They have a chance to redeem themselves when they take on Cape Town-based Milano United on Saturday at Athlone Stadium. Milano are sixth on the table and are certainly not going to be pushovers, especially in their own backyard.
“They are a good team and we know what to expect, but we need to keep on fighting until the last match of the season.
“We are going to Cape Town with a winning mentality and we need to win to stay on course for our goal,” went on Gutsa. Things are becoming interesting in this hotly contested division.
Baroka FC have just been relegated to the second place on the table by Tembisa-based Highlands Park, which are now on top with 52 points.
Royal Eagles have climbed to the third spot with 48 points, followed by Witbank Spurs in fourth with 46 points.
