Mpumalanga has set the bar very high when it comes to national competitions lately, and it has proven that unity always works.
Team JR has made it to the top two in this year’s Clash of the Choirs competition proving once again how rich this province is in terms of talent.
The team has shown consistency over the weeks and has demonstrated that simplicity can do wonders for a team gunning for that million-rand cheque. The judges had their views on our team, but agreed on one thing, Team Mpumalanga is awesome.
“You are thee choir of the season,” uttered Ms Anele Mdoda, one of the judges. Ms Rebecca Malope told of how proud she is of the team, and that they have kept it real ever since.
While the guest judge for the night, Mr Zwai Bala, was too impressed to put it to words.
“Everything is on point, from the harmony to the stage performance, this is good performance,” he said.
