Mbombela United ready to devour Spurs

Both currently have just a point apiece after two games and will both look to improve their NFD status.

The National First Division (NFD) campaigners, Mbombela United will be back in action this Sunday after a week-long break.

The home team welcome the Emalahleni-based Witbank Spurs to their slaughter house, the KaNyamazane Stadium.

This must-see thriller between these two neighbours kicks off at 15:00 and promises to be nothing but spectacular.

Both currently have just a point apiece after two games and will both look to improve their NFD status.

Tingwenyama are currently on position 11 and Spurs on the 14th spot. A win for Mbombela United could see them climbing the ladder to reach the top-eight mark.

United’s Sostern Gutsa said that Tingwenyama were always ready to feast on any prey that set foot on their grounds.

“The team is always ready for any challenge thrown at them. We are looking forward to hosting Spurs here at home.

We are not going to undermine them or anything, but we are going to play our normal game.

We have our own cream of players that can rise to the occasoion,” he said.

He also invited local supporters to come in numbers to give the boys that extra support from the stands.

“Our supporters have never failed us. They always make time to come and support the team, however, we would love and appreciate the support of the entire Ehlanzeni Region, because this team is for the people.

“This is certainly going to be a thriller and so I would like to invite all our supporters to do what they do best,” said Gutsa.

He said that those who were interested in travelling with the team during their away fixtures should visit their offices to find out more.
