Spring affair to hit Emalahleni

The country's top music acts, such as Hugh Masekela, Culoe de Song, DJ Christos and many more will headline this year's fourth annual Emalahleni Spring Splash.

EMALAHLENI – This weekend-long music extravaganza start on Friday
September 25 until Sunday September 27.

Festivities kick off on Friday with a Spring Splash Night pre-party at eMalahleni’s Highveld Mall News Café.

On Saturday The Puma Atlantic Stadium will play host to the main event, which will see top South African artists doing their thing live on stage. The show starts at 11:00 until the following day.

Jazz and maskandi music will be the order of the day, when the weekend winds up at Witbank Dam on Sunday. According to the organisers, the event seeks to promote tourism while at the same time promoting local economic development.

“This is definitely going to be an unforgettable weekend. We have been doing this for four years now and have learnt from our past mistakes. So, believe me when I say that we are going to mesmerise you. We will make this weekend unforgettable.

On that note, I would like to urge all party animals and music lovers to buy their tickets early and on time to avoid disappointment,” said Tsepo.

They are already selling at all Computicket outlets countrywide and at News Café, Highveld Mall.

“Tickets are selling like hot cakes and I am hopeful that we are looking for a sold-out event,” he said.
