One night with the queens

The black-and-gold themed event will see women, who are referred to as queens, playing their part in nation building.

It’s royalty all the way and local queens are in for a surprise as Women’s Month ends with a bang.

Presented by Zeep N Buttons, in conjunction with Ligwalagwala FM, a black-and-gold themed event will see women, who are referred to as queens, playing their part in nation building.

“Women can look forward to be empowered into understanding their role as queens spiritually, their role in the community in impacting young girls to grow into becoming queens,” says Nozipho Sifundza of Zeep N Buttons.

She adds that the event, The Night Of Queens, will be graced by a number of speakers who will touch aspects of everyday life like business, health, beauty and finance.

“Financial health is important for every woman, and without it many tumble into stress and depression and for that reason I saw it fit that the matter of making financial priorities be addressed.”

The main purpose of this event, Nozipho says, is to endow women with loads of wisdom so they can go out in their communities and play a role in addressing social ills that include teenage pregnancy, drug abuse and HIV.

The evening will not only be about speeches but guests can also look forward to a wonderful fashion show which will showcase works of local designers including Urban Rose, Kolour Lifestyle, Blesset Sobi, Retro Style and Thato Accesories.

DJ Motion will also be there to entertain ladies and a surprise live performance by popular South African Afro-soul artist has been promised to rock the evening.

Unfortunately we can’t ruin the surprise, and the only way to find out will be getting your R250 ticket at Urban Rose, I’langa Mall.
