Artists in the Lowveld have no excuses anymore to stay indoors and whine about support or the lack thereof. Organised by Mpu Yami, the Music Garden is another platform that seeks to redress the imbalances and bridge the gap in the entertainment industry.

Artists will unite to network and showcase their abilities in the presence of other fellow artists. “We just want to come together and do what we love.

From musicians, to designers, jewellery makers, and everything in-between, we want to unite in one word and just get together. Local artists will also be there to serenade the crowd with their beautiful sounds and ability to spin the decks,” said Bonga Ncube, of Mpu Yami.

Trevor Dee, Sergio Taylor, and DJ Zoe, are but some of the artists and DJs set to play during the event, which will be hosted at Mbombela Stadium on July 4.

“The entrance fee is only R30 for the fun planned for our people. For those who prefer taking their cooler boxes with, it will be R50, but the cooler boxes are only allowed until 15:00,” he added.

The festivities will kick off at 10:00 in the morning until 21:00.
