A bash you shouldn’t miss

Ligwalagwala FM is celebrating 33 years of broadcasting and this time around, it’s a celebration to shut down the entertainment scene in an exhilarating way.

The station has even greater surprises for its listeners this time and one should really be excited about them.

“We have the main event at Elangeni Lodge, it’s obviously our birthday month, so we will be celebrating all through April. Our listeners are in for a huge exciting ride this year.

We will also be giving away a brand-new car to one lucky listener, although I can’t disclose the brand yet,” said Mfundo Ntsibande, marketing manager of Ligwalagwala FM and acting group marketing manager of the SABC.

The station has confirmed that they will also have programmes that will go beyond the birthday celebrations, starting with more activations throughout the country.

“Last year we worked together with Metro FM and Five FM to expand our activations. We will do it again this year, only this year we are going in deeper. We will also launch an app that will allow our listeners to download music and podcasts for free. No one will miss a show now, as they will all be available on our website,” he added.

The station has extended its gratitude to the listeners who have kept it real over the years.

“It has been an amazing journey for the station, we are still in the top 10 of South Africa’s most-loved radio stations, our listenership is consistent, we are just grateful to the listeners who have been loyal all through,” said Ntsibande.

You might want to save April 25 for the main event organised by Nabalabantfu Entertainment, which promises to be a banger with a very hot line-up not to be missed.

“We have a very heavy line-up. I am confident that the night will be awesome. I can’t reveal anything for now, but I can promise the people that they really don’t want to miss this.

Nkomazi will be the hub of entertainment on the day, it will definitely be at standstill,” said Delani Mofokeng, managing director of Nabalabantfu Entertainment.

Mpumalanga News is giving away tickets to this eagerly awaited event.
Unfortunately we can’t divulge the hot line-up yet, all we are saying is, usaban usema surbabsini.

See you there!
