We have been yapping about it for a very long time. Now the day we’ve all been waiting for, has finally arrived. Couples will be happy to know that there are many activities on the calendar for Valentine’s Day this year, and staying at home is not one of them.
Another thrilling performance by international songbird, Lira, will take place at Emnotweni Arena on February 14, and fans can prepare themselves for a real show-stopper.
Lowvelders have evidently been bitten by the love bug and clearly suffer from what we call fomo – the fear of missing out. The Friday and Saturday shows have apparently been fully booked.
In short, this weekend will most definitely be jolly with great entertainment. Tickets are available at Computicket at R150 per person. For those who prefer some fun with the family, the Lowveld Botanical Garden provides nothing short of that.
The garden will host a picnic with artist, Moneoa, who will serenade the audience with her angelic voice. Games will be available for children on the day. The public will also be entertained by our very own Uncle Mdu and Sweet Mike. Tickets are available at Computicket at R200 per couple and R150 for singles.
Nature lovers will also not be left out. Nutting House will host a Valentine’s Day pool party, which promises to be top-notch.
Swimming costumes and shorts will be the order of the day while others braai and enjoy great music. Tickets are R100 per person. What would Valentine’s Day be without a little bit of laughter? Comedian Maanda Mungulwa, saves the day with his comedy night.
My Funny Valentine’s will be held at Capello, The Grove, and R60 gets you in.
With all these events lined up over just one weekend, there is no excuse to sit indoors.
