Local rapper, Masta H, whose real name is Hlompho Lekhuleni, will talk about his album on SABC 2’s Weekend Live this Saturday.

The album, Mapulaneng Ke Gae, is his first full-length hip-hop album in which he completely raps in Sepulana, so-called Eastern Sotho.
The Tshwane University of Technology graduate has been in the music industry for long and has worked with great names as well.

“In the four years that I have been a recording artist, I have managed to work with Zahara, Professor, Ralph Gum and Black Coffee, as an opening act, and many others in Bushbuckridge.

In 2011, I performed alongside Spikiri, Character, Howza, T-Bo Touch and Bucie during the Metro Awards pre-launch party at Rock n Roll in Hazyview.

“I also boast a feature in a cultural-identity television documentary titled O’Mang where I also scored the soundtrack,” he said.

If you are a fan of native rap, then he is your guy and make sure to tune into Morning Live, Channel 404 on DStv, at 08:00 on Saturday.
