Fitting tributes paid to talented and well-loved DJ

The late Sifisosethu Mavuso, affectionately known to his listeners as Dreamboy, had a fitting send-off which started with a memorial service of the same calibre on Thursday.

MBOMBELA – The late Sifisosethu Mavuso, affectionately known to his listeners as Dreamboy, had a fitting send-off which started with a memorial service of the same calibre on Thursday.

The Kasi FM DJ allegedly committed suicide on January 10 and was laid to rest last Saturday.

Station manager for Kasi FM, Mr Veli Mhlanga, has expressed sincere condolences to the family and spoke about their loss as the station.”We have lost an enormous talent in Dreamboy, he had so much more to offer.

He was so vibrant, one could not ignore his energy vibes. We would like to send our heartfelt condolences to the family, this is indeed a great loss,” he said.

The memorial service was graced by artists such as Goodman Mgibe, who kept the mourners comforted in their time of distress.

The late Crack of Dawn host, which aired from 02.00 to 06.00, was laid to rest in Lothair in the Gert Sibande region.
