Mbombela is set to come to life when top award-winning musicians, such as DJ Tira, Tbo Touch, Cindo and Fisherman perform at Mbombela Stadium during the first annual Mbombela Homecoming on December 16.
Organised by Mosate Entertainment, a company which brought the first-ever Beach Festival to Emaweni Resort last month, this musical showdown will certainly revive the city, especially during Reconciliation Day.
The line-up includes Khanyi Mbau, DJs Jawz, Mashabela, Malwela, Shabba, Madumane, Afrotellus and many more.
“We have realised that there are no activities happening during this time of the year, especially on December 16. So we decided to bring the people of the province some entertainment.
“Just like we did during the Beach Festival, we have a dress code that patrons must adhere to. It is plain and simple, gold and white.
We have planned to reward the first 1 000 women dressed in white with free admission,” said the organisers.
Tickets will sell at R150pp and R500 for VIPs.
“Because we recognise this day as a family day, we have arranged for our patrons to bring their cool boxes and braai stands.”
