Bongi celebrates with her supporters

Bongiwe Silinda is back home and she has painted the city pink. Team Bongi tirelessly waited for more than an hour for the star to make her arrival at the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport this morning.

“We are very proud of Bongi and we don’t mind waiting here just as long as we will be able to show her the love as soon as she lends,” said Mohamed Phiri, her interim manager.

Speaking to the media, Bongi expressed her gratitude to the diligent efforts shown by the Province through their votes and campaigns.

“Mpumalanga I have seen you voting and pushing the Team Bongi brand, it is humbling for me to see so much love emanating from the Province. It has been an amazing journey and I have grown as an artist.

The exposure, the tours, and all the profile update, the joy in all that cannot be overemphasized. Ngiyabonga Mpumalanga,” said Bongi.
