Isibaya has grown to be so popular among Mzansi Magic viewers, and the good news is the cast is in awe of Lowvelders, to the extent that they are coming down for what they call a “mingling session”.
Casambo Lodge will be the place to be on November 29 for a date with the stars.
“We are bringing the Isibaya crew for a chill session, or what one might call, an appearance. We are so excited about it, these people are on our screens from Mondays to Fridays, and now we will be sharing drinks and conversations with them.
It’s a day to absolutely look forward to,” said Zodwa Matsebula, organiser of the event.
Jessica Nkosi, aka Qondi, Andile Mxakaza, Operation Ndlovu, aka Fezile, Skhaleni, and Andile Gumbi, who plays Zweli in the soapie, are the actors to be holding up conversations with Lowvelders on the day.
“These characters are big in their own right, funny and captivating. I encourage Mbombela to come out in numbers to grab and take advantage of such an awesome opportunity.
One has to own the bragging rights should there be a need,” added Zodwa.
The normal entrance fee is R100 while VIP will be R200.
“The VIP booth will be better for sharing the space with the stars. Of course they will from time to time go make an appearance, but they will be seated in the VIP section most of the time,” she added.
Some local acts for the night include Trevor Dee, DJ Klenkie, and DJ Zoe. See you there!
